Finally. The moment I have been most excited for all year. ITS FINISHED!
This has been the route of so much stress and worry but I'm fairly proud of it (even if the more I watch it the more I find faults. I'm a bit self critical. Oops.).
My artist's website is finally finished! After several attempts and re-plannings I've finished it and its published for the world to see.
As a final adjustment (hopefully) for my video I want to do some colour correction to help improve the aesthetic of the video and help make it look more professional. However, this is not an area I'm particularly confident in therefore I have turned to the help of youtube for a tutorial and this is the one I found.
I made multiple attempts with this and unfortunately it did not look right and made my video WAY too over saturated. Instead I played around with various set effects on Premiere pro and found one that works.

Final Draft I promise!
Draft 4 (are you as annoyed by the song as I am yet?)
This is the 3rd Draft of my music video, changes are taking place!
The second draft of my music video ladies and gentlemen!
For the social media twitter page of my artist I have made a little teaser GIF for my music video to create some excitement for my music video. All of my thousands (ha!) of follower are gonna love it!

I present the long awaited first draft of my music video. There are still a few spaces that need filling (10 seconds has ever felt so long) but I'm happy (ish) with it so far.
After this draft I received some feedback from a peer with some ideas and alterations I could include which I found quite valuable.
I really like it Josie, it actually made me feel a lot of sympathy for her and has a real emotional punch to it. So in that sense, mission accomplished.
- Perhaps start with a white screen and blur in the baby clothes
- I think there should be some quick pacing (perhaps double time to the beat) to signify how quickly her life has changed
- Brief bit of Face time footage from someone else’s phone with you showing him/her off?
- Come of the shots are a little blurry Shot a little blurry
- With the beat changes perhaps some quick cutaways (you happy, gig tickets being replaced by pics of you and bear etc)
- Cutaways of scrolling through Facebook events that she can’t go to followed by quick cutaway of your eyes looking sad and that, eyeline match from you to ‘teddy’
- Need to look more knackered towards the end, could use a filter for this.
- Shot of empty bed. Perhaps again, quick cutaway of you exhausted trying to catch 5-10 mins nap.
- If filming again maybe make the room messier
- Before the bin liner shot, perhaps a cutaway of you sat staring at the pile of baby stuff, a bit of a repeat of the shot of you and teddy on the bed earlier on.
- Last 40 seconds – think we need a few more cutaways of sad looking Josie perhaps near the end a mid shot of you zipping up your coat and leaving the house (OSS of eyeline match and CU of you looking into the distance taking a deep breath and facing your future before the sad baby shot.
- Other idea was to have you sat head in hands on the sofa perhaps looking blankly into the middle distance or at the camera with a despondent look but film it twice and with the second take move the bear around a lot as if it is crawling and getting everywhere.
- Picking loads of baby stuff off of the floor
- Perhaps an over the shoulder shot of you writing a letter to the baby for the future but screwing it up or not being able to finish it.
Below are the fully edited and uploaded products listed on my website ready to be 'bought' buy fans.

This is the last section of the video in place obviously there'll still be some tweaking as I want to include shots of the mother without the child but I quite liked this for now. I also received a little bit of feedback from one of my peers:-
Shots are looking good and teddy/baby transition looking good although I'm guessing the impact of this twist will be greater when the rest is completed.
Because I'm quite proud of the work I did for preliminary task at the start of A2 I've decided to add it to part of this project. To round off my merchandise at a nice 9 I'm adding my wasteland CD cover as an EP to my websites store. However, because the cover has Against the current on the front I've had to take it to photoshop and fix it. I don't want to add Haze because it would be in a different colour and style to the original writing so I'm leaving it without and artist.
After deciding on what products I wanted to use as merchandise I've taken them to photoshop and started editing. I began my taking my albums logo design and removing the background to place on the merchandise.
From here I placed the design on my first product. A T-Shirt.
However, I then found that with the design of the logo I wouldn't be able to put it on certain merchandise and so I had to eliminate the cap, guitar pick and wristband from my product list. Instead I have replaced them with my album and a signed poster all in the making.
