Here it is. Our 30 second remake. We planned in 2 lessons, filmed it in half a lesson and edited for 1 and a half. Pretty quick and simple but fun.
Reception Theory was a concept devised by Stuart Hall in terms of how viewers decode a piece of text. This is a key aspect of media which must be well thought about when a product is being created.
We filmed and started editing today with our little group: Me on camera and directing, Laura on music and giving Ques (Courtney was also busy being ill). Here's a little sneak peak of our happy mime.
This is our storyboard for our 30 seconds re-creation task. Our teacher Mr Welch very kindly agreed to star as Peter Kay for the video and it will be shot within the school.
As our first music video task we've been asked to recreate 30 seconds of a music video and for this I'm working with Laura and Courtney. Many people have chosen to do Happy by Pharrell Williams as this is what the class did for our case study however we have chosen to re-create the first 30 seconds of (Is this the way to) Amarillo by Tony Christie. The music video was produced for Comic Relief by Peter Kay and featured many famous people.
