Today we had a lesson on websites in which looked at previous students work and sir went over some aspects that we need to include in our websites.
From this lesson I've realised I need to have a bit of a re-plan. Sir made a point that the website and album don't center around the music video. This wasn't something I'd put much thought into, I had wanted them to keep focus on the videos but after thought I'd realised this wasn't really possible as an album did not just have one song to focus on. I need to come up with a concept for the website and album that tie together with the artist over the video but is still represented with the video.
For this I need to start by actually 'forming a band'. Preferably four members, like the original band, due the the musical instruments used but I could possibly get away with three if needs be. I'd like them to be all male too as I think it would suit my aimed image but also due to the male voice of the lead singer. 
I have a few friends in mind that I could use as my band. I'll have to do a photo shoot with them with get photos for both the album and the website.
I haven't yet decided on a theme I could go for that would suit the style of music and the video. So I googled 'Indie Rock album covers' and here are some that are of a similar style that I like and could use as inspiration:-

From this research I'm thinking a sort of vintage effect and I want to feature the whole band but maybe not their faces e.g Maybe looking out onto a lake with the photo taken from behind or sat on steps but with heads cut off. I'd then have to get some various other shots to fill the website and rest of the digi pack.
