In preparation for creating a website I've been having a look a weebly, one of the options for a website platform. As I'm in charge of promotion for a local band Idol Threats (You may recognise the drummer) I thought I'd use them as my website tester dummy. 
Above is the homepage I created with a general picture of the band along with their name and links the social media. I liked this simple layout as it then meant the first seen page wasn't over crowded and springing information on the viewer straight away. I then found weebly offered the feature of creating several pages such as 'About', 'Photos' and 'Contact' which I found quite useful and very necessary for a band to have. I don't have photos of these as they were a bit empty (I'm trying to get the band to write their details) but have learnt how to add the various sections and the different layouts and I can create. 
I've found this practice very helpful preparation for later on in the course.
